The Governance team support the work of the Board of Management, ensuring that the Board and its Committees operate effectively and within their legislative and regulatory framework. The team provides Governance Leadership to the College Board to enable structured input, development and challenge to national policy issues and discussions with key stakeholders. The team also provide an extra link between the Board of Management and the College’s Executive Team.
The Governance team plan and service Board and Committee meetings and ensure that Board processes such as appointments, induction, training and evaluation, and members’ engagement in college events take place throughout the year.
