Course Overview

 Introduction to Computer Aided Design is ideal for adults and school pupils with a keen interest in this subject or beginners with little or no experience of Adobe Software who would like to develop skills and understanding in this area. You'll explore a variety of CAD techniques to create 2D design outcomes within specialist Mac Labs. From a range of sources you will explore image manipulation techniques to develop the skills to produce finished outcomes for print and web using Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator.

Entry Requirements

  •  no formal qualifications required but students should have n interest within the specialist area of Fashion and Textiles

English Proficiency Requirements
  • IELTS 5.5
Progression And Articulation Routes

Work created on these courses can support a portfolio of work for future course applications to specialist Art and Design courses, supporting school leavers or a career change.

Previous evening class students have progressed onto our well recognised UAL Diplomas and specialist NCs and HNDs before University and employment within the Creative Industries.
