Course Overview

Introduction to Life Drawing is ideal for adults and school pupils with a keen interest in this subject or beginners with little or no drawing experience who would like to develop skills and understanding in this area. You'll explore a variety of Drawing techniques to explore and render the Human form within specialist Art Studios. You will develop skills and understanding of proportion, perspective, mass, volume and structure relating to the Human form using a range of analytical and expressive drawing approaches.

Entry Requirements

  • No formal qualifications required but students should have an interest within the Visual Arts and wish to improve their own drawing skills.


English Proficiency Requirements
  • IELTS 5.5
Progression And Articulation Routes

Work created on these courses can support a portfolio of work for future course applications to specialist Art and Design courses, supporting school leavers or a career change.

Previous evening class students have progressed onto our well recognised UAL Diplomas and specialist NCs and HNDs before University and employment within the Creative Industries.
