Automotive Paint and Refinishing is an evening class held at Edinburgh College’s Sighthill campus once a week for 12-weeks. If you are interested in learning the basics of painting and refinishing, wanting to start a new hobby or aspiring to work in the automotive industry then this course is designed for you.
The class is aimed at car enthusiasts wishing to develop their skills and knowledge of paint repair techniques used in the industry. The course is taught by teachers with industry experience using the latest industry technologies. During this course you will be shown the full repair process including component removal, surface preparation and paint application. You will be looking at several different systems and learning how to repair bodywork and paint components. These processes will be carried out on live vehicles in our workshops to best simulate a realistic working environment.
