All applicants must be
16 years of age or older before the start date of the course and must hold :
A minimum of two National 5s or two
relevant Standard Grades at credit Level or a qualification at SCQF Level 5 or
equivalent preferably in English and Biology and pass interview task
Mature returners entry with
successful interview and pass interview task
English Proficiency Requirements
How the course is assessed
- All practical assessments are carried
out on paying clients within our salons.
- The theory aspects of the course are
carried out under exam conditions completing open book assessments and closed book assessments
Information on Test/Auditions/Interview Requirements
Successful applicants will be invited to a
formal interview – this will include a
written task. All criteria will be sent out prior to interview.
The formal interview has a scoring criteria based on - presentation and
communication skills at interview, along with the written task
