Course Overview
-

If you're just leaving school and not sure what career path you want to follow yet then this course could be the one for you - it will give you the opportunity to try out and develop your cooking skills, your selling skills and the opportunity to plan and run your own event.


Throughout the course, you will get the opportunity to develop your employability skills along with team building and customer care skills.


There will be opportunities for you to meet and talk to employers to gain more insight into these professions and the chance to visit some of them on a site visit. 


We have great facilities to support the development of your skills including our fully fitted kitchen for you to cook in - our college shop Bizarre Bazar for you to try out and develop your selling skills and the Atrium for you to run your event.

Placement Information

  • There is no mandatory work placement but you are encouraged to seek a work placement or employment to help support the development of your skills

Although there are no formal entry requirements candidates must have the ability to study at SCQF Levels 3 to 4
