One day basic Food Hygiene course designed for all food handlers to meet due diligence requirement of the Food Safety regulations. The course is intended for anyone involved in hospitality and catering care sector food retailing and food processing and anyone who is interested in food hygiene. It is the first step in food hygiene and will provide you with a basic understanding of food hygiene. The course is delivered as a one day or two half days input. A REHIS certificate is issued on successful completion of the course and examination.
The course will cover:
- Personal hygiene
- Temperature control
- Pest control
- All staff will receive a certificate on passing the short multi-choice exam
How Course Is Assessed:
- There is a 20 minute multiple choice assessment at the end of the course.
Number of Days per week:
- You should be working in the food industry
