Explore a career in the travel and tourism industry through this innovative HND. Get an in-depth insight into the travel and tourism industry, develop your knowledge of tourist destinations and enhance your great customer service skills. This course will prepare you for a rewarding career in travel and tourism or higher education. Edinburgh College has state-of-the-art facilities and you will use aircraft simulation programmes in order to gain hands-on and practical experience in the industry. You will attend guest lectures from the best in the travel business and learn about the abundance of job opportunities available in this growing sector.

Entry Requirements
-
  • For Year 1: Minimum two Highers at minimum Grade C or relevant NC pass at SCQF Level 6
  • For Year 2: Pass all 15 credits available at HNC Level
English Proficiency Requirements

  • IELTS 5.5
How the course is assessed

  • You will be assessed through academic, role play and practical assignments throughout the year.

  • You will be invited to attend an interview to assess if this is the correct course for you

  • Second or third-year entry on to BA (Hons) Tourism Management at Edinburgh Napier University 
  • Third-year entry on to BA (Hons) International Hospitality and Tourism Management at Queen Margaret University
