Are you interested in a career in IT and want to find out more about computing courses and digital skills?
Attend one of our Digital Skills Information Sessions to find out more about a career in IT, what courses you could study at college, if a course can be tailored for your routine, and funding options to support your studies.
We have courses from beginner level right up to Undergraduate courses in a broad range of computing areas. Whether you’re at the beginning of your career or looking to develop your skills through upskilling or reskilling, we will have a course to suit your needs.
These online sessions are an opportunity for Edinburgh College to find out more about you, what interests you about a career in IT, what kind of digital skills you want to develop and what study modes suit your needs.
This will help us to create new courses that reflect the needs of people locally who would like to start a career in IT, whether it is Web, Networking, Cyber Security, Data Science or Coding.
What will happen during the sessions?
Our experienced teaching staff will talk through the different areas of our Computing curriculum and suggest any courses which might be suitable for you as well as discussing funding options which are available to help you financially. You can choose to be kept up to date about new courses that are created as a result of these sessions.
The session will be hosted on Zoom and led by a friendly staff member from our Computing curriculum. An invitation will be sent to you after you have registered for a session.
