Granton Community Event 2019

Granton Campus is once again throwing its doors open to the wider community for the College’s second Granton Community Event on Saturday 1 June from 12pm to 3pm.

The aim of the day is to bring together the diverse community, the wide range of activities and support networks available within the local area, and to showcase all that the College has to offer to our neighbours – with representation from curriculum areas and our excellent facilities.

Students, staff, friends, family and anyone in the general public are invited to take part in the day. The day will be filled with a wide range of activities including:

  • ‘Art in the Open’ with the National Galleries of Scotland
  • Face painting
  • Dental Health activities
  • Sports coaching drills
  • Community Growing advice
  • Activities for children
  • Musical performances
  • Student products for sale
  • Virtual Welding
  • Lunch

Groups joining us on the day include: National Galleries of Scotland, Granton Waterfront Development Project, Heriots Rugby Club, Granton Parish Church, Girlguiding Scotland, and North Edinburgh Arts.

We look forward to welcoming everyone to Granton on this special day.
