Silver medal win at Worldskills UK Final

Two BEng Security and Forensics (incorporating HND Networking) year two students competed in the UK National Final of Worldskills UK, a competition open to inspire apprentices and young people to be ambitious in their pursuit of skills excellence.

Dario Khorassani Mohaddes, who took home a silver medal, and Jonathan Chezeaud (runner-up) were part of the 500 talented young people who took part in the competitions, which covered 61 different skills over three days at Birmingham’s NEC in front of thousands of visitors.

Both were competing in the Network Infrastructure Technician which consists of a series of tasks that can include installation, configuration, and maintenance and troubleshooting of ICT networks.
