Where is my classroom?
There are sign posts across the campus with room numbers to point you in the right direction, or you can ask reception if you need help. If you want to have a peak at what the campus looks like before you get there, take a look at our 360 degree tour of the college. Find it here.
What is an LDT and where do I find them?
Most full-time students have a named LDT who will act as your main point of contact throughout the year. Your LDT will support you and monitor your attendance and progress on your course.
Through weekly tutorials and regular guidance sessions, your LDT aims to make you more employable and/or ready to progress to your next course.
Their office is located on the 3rd floor staff room for students to drop in.

I have additional support needs – who can I talk to?
We provide confidential support and guidance for students with additional support needs. To talk to someone, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org.
I need to pay my fees, where do I go?
You must pay your fees before the start of your course. Read our guide here. You can pay for your fees at the cash office on the ground floor near the coffee shop. If you have any questions you can email Finance at email@example.com.
What is ECSA?
ECSA stands for Edinburgh College Students Association. If you have an issue with any aspect of student life such as funding or academic problems, ECSA are there to help. Check out their website.
Advice and Guidance
Our Guidance team can help with advice on accommodation, money management, choosing the right course, finding part-time work, writing a CV and applying to university. You can speak to someone at a drop-in session 10.30am – 2.30pm (Mon-Fri).
Where can I eat?
The Food Court is located on the lower ground floor. It is open 8am – 2pm Monday to Friday.
Where can I get a coffee/tea?
The coffee shop is located opposite the reception on the ground floor. It is open 8am – 4pm (Monday to Friday). A self-service coffee machine is available for evening class students.
Where is the library?
The library is located on the 1st floor, up the stairs past reception.

What is the best way to get to Midlothian?
By bus travelling from Edinburgh: 29 until Tesco Hardengreen, and walk through the path.
From Midlothian: 40 (Penicuik and Bonnyrigg), 49 (Rosewell and Bonnyrigg) and 29 (Gorebridge)
From East Lothian: 40

Can I park my car at the campus?
You can apply for a parking permit by picking up a form from reception. A parking permit must be displayed on your vehicle at all times. Please note that this does not guarantee you a parking space.
