We are currently enjoying the second golden age of both television and film. The introduction of digital TV technology, online video platforms, streaming and video-on-demand services has prompted a steep rise in content creation. With an increase in demand for new films and television programming, comes the need for individuals with the talent and skills to fill the various roles required to produce them.
If you are interested in a career behind the camera, for Television or Film, this course will provide you with a practical introduction to the creative and technical foundations of cinematography
Through a mixture of short lectures, demonstrations, film analysis, group discussions and hands-on practical exercises, this 18-week course will provide you with an introduction to the digital video camera, how to set it up/operate it correctly and how to capture footage that not only looks fantastic but demonstrates an understanding of the art of visual storytelling.
