Course overview
Taught by an experienced Edinburgh College music lecturer at our Milton Road campus, this 8-week fully funded course will introduce you to the instruments and techniques of hand percussion: claves, cowbells, gogo bells, finger cymbals, djembes, bongos, congas, rain sticks, surdos, tambourines, cabassas, vibraslaps, udus, shakers and more.
You'll explore different rhythmic styles, creating pieces made up of interlocking patterns and grooves.
