Course overview

Have you ever seen different motion graphics titles in your favourite movies and asked yourself how to do them? This course is for you. The introduction to the Motion Graphics course with Adobe After Effects is designed to teach you this vital area of production.

In the first part of the course, we will teach the basic knowledge on how to use After Effects, you will explore the interface of the software, learn how to animate using the timeline, add effects to layers and more.

The second part of the course will be focused on motion graphics. You will learn how to create your own personal titles and graphics using different techniques, such as animation, shape, colourisation and layering.

You will learn how to do this by applying the proper workflow and how to enhance your animations and projects to a high level.

This course is perfect for people who want to use their creativity, learn how to work on different small projects and develop their knowledge, skills, confidence, apply various visual styles and techniques using the software.

  • Basic skills in video capture and editing

  • Progression onto other Broadcast Media & Photography full-time or other short courses
