Course overview

The Youth Dance Company is for young dancers in S4-S6 interested in developing dance and performance skills.

What you will learn

You will take part in weekly sessions building skills in commercial and contemporary dance. You will work together to create a performance piece for the end-of-year performance at the Churchill Theatre. Classes will incorporate technique, choreography and creative sessions.

How the course is assessed

This is a leisure course - attendance and completion of the course

Number of days per week

Monday evenings 5-7 pm

Progression and Articulation Routes

The Youth Group can be a springboard to applying for full-time courses in the performing arts
