Course overview
This is a free opportunity designed for teachers and facilitators of theatre, drama, and dance to enhance their skills in production and performing arts, and to provide CPD in areas that will support the delivery of National and Higher courses and Youth Theatre/Dance Practitioners.
The course offers two strands; Production Arts and Dance, allowing you to select from a menu of workshops to support and build your unique skill set.
These fortnightly professional development sessions will explore different areas of performing and production arts with content including lighting, sound, make-up artistry, dance, and prop making. Led by the highly skilled lecturing team at Performing Arts Studio Scotland, there will be an opportunity to learn techniques and familiarise yourself with software that can support your work as well as time for asking questions.
There may be an opportunity to participate online but we hope to welcome you to the Granton campus to work in our industry-standard facilities.
