Level 5 Sound Production is an innovative, project-based course explicitly designed to prepare you with the fundamental knowledge and skills to progress onto NC Level 6 Sound Production or Music. You will be taught by highly qualified, industry-accredited lecturers and explore all areas of sound production from both a creative and technical perspective.
Through introductory classes, you will develop fundamental skills and knowledge preparing you to progress. You will engage in the studio and professional practice in recording, mixing, live sound, sound design, audio engineering and music for visual media.
How the course is assessed
- The course is mainly project based. You will be assessed continuously through a range of project and portfolio work.

- 3 days per week
- Four qualifications at SQCF Level 4
- A basic understanding of sound production
