Course overview
Television and Film HND is the progression from Television and Film HNC at Milton Road Campus, but if you have an HNC in a similar subject area or a portfolio of relevant prior experience you may also be considered for a place.
The course will build on your technical skills in camera, editing and colour correction. You will learn to write and direct in various genres and styles, both factual and dramatic. You will acquire skills of criticism and research that will give you a solid grounding for progression onto a university honours degree and employment. In addition, you will produce a range of short programmes that will provide you with a practical understanding of film, video and television production and enable you to compile an impressive showreel, one that will aid you in achieving your first steps into this exciting industry.

How the course is assessed
- You will be assessed through practical and written assignments
- You will complete project work and associated production documentation
