Mental Health Awareness Week is massively important as it helps to raise awareness of mental health issues and inspire action to promote the message of good mental health for all.
We know that now is a challenging time for everybody, and looking after our mental health is crucial in helping us to navigate our way through the current circumstances.
Research has shown that two thirds of us experience a mental health problem at some stage in our lifetime. Talking about mental health means people don’t have to suffer in silence so please make sure you seek help and talk to someone if you are experiencing any issues with your mental health, or if you want some advice and support.
There are a number of local and national support organisations you can get in touch with during these difficult times, as well as online resources and self-help apps:
