Financial considerations are one of the most important issues when considering studying abroad. As well as the international tuition fees, you will need to factor in the cost of living in the United Kingdom during your studies.
International applicants must pay the full tuition fee for their course before they can be issued an unconditional offer.

Summer School and International English Language courses 2023/24
Students can choose to study General English (15 hours/week) or Intensive English (20 hours/week). Summer School runs in July/August and students can choose a course duration of 2-8 weeks. For International English Language courses, students can choose a course duration of between 2 and 44 weeks.

Homestay Accommodation
Edinburgh College offers homestay accommodation for our international students. Students have the option to choose half board (breakfast and dinner included) or self-catering. There is an additional £25 per week fee for students staying in homestay over Summer (July/August) and the 3-week Christmas period.

As well as the international tuition fees, you will need to factor in the cost of living in the United Kingdom during your studies.
When preparing a budget for studying at Edinburgh College it is important to understand what your expected costs will be and what you should have enough money to pay for. You should research and consider costs such as rent, bills, insurance, and meals as well as spending money for clothing, eating out and activities.
For Student Visa holders, the recommended UK Visa and Immigration maintenance amount is £1,023 per month for 9 months (£9,207 total) for full-time courses.
