How do I confirm I wish to take part in Graduation?

All eligible graduates will be sent an email inviting them to attend their Faculty Graduation ceremony and containing a link to book.

If you have not received an invite but think you’re eligible, please contact: graduation@edinburghcollege.ac.uk

What ceremony should I watch?

Your invitation will name the Faculty you belong too and we will also send you a link to your ceremony prior to 5 March. The link can then be forwarded to family and friends to watch live and following the ceremonies you will also be able to view the ceremony via our website.

How much will it cost?

As our ceremonies are all being shown online for the Class of 2020 there is no cost involved. Our gowning company are offering students the opportunity to hire a gown for your home ceremony. Please note this is optional and not required to take part in the ceremony..

What do I get at the ceremony?

Normally graduates will receive a certificate and commemorative programme of the ceremony. Due to current restrictions and our campuses being closed we will send these to all those who registered to be part of the ceremonies as soon as we can after 5 March.

Do I have to wear a gown?

The College’s gowning supplier is offering gown hire for the virtual event. This will be sent straight to your home address. This is optional and not required to be part of the virtual ceremony.

Professional Photography for the Class of 2020

As soon as it is safe to do so we plan to offer all our graduates from the Class of 2020 the opportunity to hire a gown and have professional photography taken on one of our campuses.
