We are always looking for people to get actively involved in helping to support students and to further the work of the Edinburgh College Development Trust.  Not only can this be very rewarding, but you can also learn new skills, make friends, become an integral part of the Development Trust family, and also have some fun!

Volunteering opportunities include:
  • Fundraising
  • Helping to run the charity by volunteering as a trustee
  • Getting involved in aspects of the day to day running of the charity such as helping organise an event, updating social media, taking minutes at meetings, etc
  • Opportunities to volunteer as a current student. We are working with the Edinburgh College Students Association to develop a range of volunteering opportunities for current students. Watch this space for more information or get in touch to find out more.
  • Volunteer as a guest lecturer: do you have expertise in a field that is taught at Edinburgh College? The College might be interested in an occasional lecture or workshop on your chosen topic, or perhaps a visit to your business or workplace.
  • Are you an alumnus (a previous graduate/student) of Edinburgh College?  Would you like to find out what your old classmates have been up to? Then volunteer to organise a reunion.
