This dynamic course is designed for students aiming to build a strong foundation in business and marketing, while also achieving the National Progression Award (NPA) in Customer Service. It offers a practical and engaging introduction to the core functions of modern business, equipping you with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in customer-focused environments.
You will explore the principles of customer service and how they underpin successful business relationships, while also developing essential IT skills to support digital communication and data handling. The course introduces key concepts in economics and accounting, helping learners understand how businesses operate and the financial and marketing contexts in which they operate.
The course provides insight into how products and services are promoted and sold, with a focus on consumer behaviour and strategic planning. You will also examine the role of management in shaping organisational success, including how people and teams are led and motivated.
By the end of the course, students will have a well-rounded understanding of business operations, customer service excellence, and the tools needed to contribute effectively in a variety of professional settings.

Entry requirements
- A minimum of four relevant National 5s (must include English and Maths/Numeracy) at C or above
