Course overview

This course is designed to provide you with the fundamental knowledge required for success in current and future employment in business or for progression to further academic qualifications. The structure provides you with basic knowledge and skills in the study of business and its role in society, as well as advanced IT skills and knowledge of Human Resource Management.

You will explore how organisations function, how people and finances are managed effectively, and how technology supports modern business practices.

Through a blend of practical and theoretical learning, you will develop confidence in using IT tools essential for today’s administrative and HR environments. You’ll enhance your skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and data handling, while also learning how to communicate professionally and persuasively in a business context.
