Course overview

We are delivering this new course at our Granton Campus for people who are considering careers in working in the community with young people or in adult education. This is a taster part-time course running on Wednesdays 10 am - 2.15 pm and Thursdays 9.30 am - 12.30 pm.

The course is aimed at people who may already be volunteering in their community and would like to progress into employment in this area of work, or, people who might be looking for a career change or those who are just interested in finding out a bit more about community/youth work.

Students completing the course may be able to apply to progress to the HNC Working With Communities Course or to employment in the field.

The course will run from 24 January 2024 until 13 June 2024.
