Capital College and Wella celebrate first anniversary of enhanced training partnership

In addition, level 2 and 3 students showcased their skills by a creating commercial and colour style on mannequins which were judged by guests in a round of Wella Xposure heats. Xposure is a nationwide competition which sees budding stylists showcase their chosen look in a bid to progress to the next stage of the competition which takes place in London.

The winners of the Edinburgh College heat also won vouchers towards Wella Education training at the Granton Campus studio or in Wella’s Manchester studio.

The results of the Edinburgh College heats were:

It has been fantastic to celebrate one year since our state-of-the-art Wella Studio opened. Throughout the year we have seen lots of industry professionals come through the doors for training which has been an inspiration for our students. This partnership is so valuable to us as it helps to keep our students and staff at the cutting edge of our industry in terms of training, trends and products. Huge thanks to Ashley and the team who continue to make working alongside Wella a pleasure and a privilege. Congratulations to our star students who placed in the Xposure heats which took place during the event. They are showing such potential at this point in their journey, as are all of our students, and we can’t wait to see how they do in the competition.
