Edinburgh College celebrates number of nominations at Herald HE Awards
Edinburgh College is proud to have secured nominations in five different categories at this year’s Herald HE Awards.
The Awards recognise Colleges and Universities that have excelled in a variety of different ways, be it invaluable contributions from staff members, or research projects that have made a lasting impact on the community.

The College is up for an award in the following categories:
- Widening Access Award - ESOL for Work
- Outstanding Contribution from a College Student - Oleksandr Shtepan
- Outstanding Contribution from a Staff Member - Xsara Murray, Active Campus Coordinator
- Research Project of the Year - Addressing Language as a Barrier to Work and Progression - The impact of Edinburgh College's English for Work Programmes
- Marketing/PR Campaign of the Year - Experience Edinburgh College
Audrey Cumberford, the Principal of Edinburgh College, says all of the nominees deserve huge credit:

It’s incredible to see the hard work being done by our staff and teams at the College recognised in so many different categories, and is testament to the dedication and talent of all involved.
