Based in Dalkeith, the Midlothian Campus is one of the most advanced technology teaching centres in Scotland.
Among its state of the art facilities are an Oil Production Platform Simulator, the Solar Meadow (with over 2,500 photovoltaic panels is the first teaching project of its kind in Scotland that will help not only provide the next generation of engineers to develop essential skills for the growing renewable energy sector), specialist engineering and construction equipment and purpose-built plumbing and electrical workshops.
Midlothian Campus also plays host to the MacTaggart Scott Hydraulics, Pneumatics and PLC Laboratory. This partnership between the college and engineering firm MacTaggart Scott provides a professional training facility that offers the perfect learning environment to develop engineering skills in hydraulics and pneumatics.
