Course overview
This exciting 18-week short course is designed to develop understanding and skills for carrying out Aromatherapy massage.
In addition to becoming proficient in the skills involved, you will learn and demonstrate an understanding of all aspects of related anatomy and physiology, as well as current health and safety.
On completion of this course, you will be able to perform Aromatherapy massage treatments, which will enable you to seek employment in the Beauty and Spa industry or progress to further studies within the Beauty and Spa/Wellness sectors.
This course is SQA Accredited
Please Note:
- The cost, of course, is £650 and must be paid before the start of the course (NB course fees are non-refundable once the course has started)
- Some theory will be delivered online - you will be required to have access to IT to enable you to complete this part of the course, e.g, a. laptop, Pc, iPhone, Android phone
We also ask all students to adhere to the dress code for the department as follows:

Placement information
- No work placement is required for this course.
How the course is assessed
- All practical assessments are conducted for paying clients in our salons.
- The theoretical aspects of the course are covered under exam conditions, with open-book and closed-book assessments.
Number of days per week
- 1 afternoon per week for 18 weeks, 12.30 PM to 4.30 PM on a Tuesday.
- Plus 6 hours self-directed study.
Entry requirements
- All applicants must be 18 years of age or older on the course start date and have paid for the course in full.
- All applicants must have achieved Body Massage and/or Anatomy and Physiology qualifications at SCQF Level 6.
Information on Tests / Auditions / Interview Requirements
- There is no formal interview process; however, you must be 18 years of age or older on the course start date.
- You must hold valid Body Massage and/or Anatomy and Physiology qualifications at SCQF Level 6, and have paid for the course in full.
