Course overview
This 18-week exciting short course is designed to develop an understanding and basic skills in preparing for and performing Full-Body Massage for the Beauty industry.
In addition to becoming proficient in the skills involved, you will learn an understanding of all aspects of related anatomy and physiology and current health and safety.
You will be able to perform full body massages, which will enable you to seek employment at a trainee level in the Beauty industry or progress to further studies within the Beauty and Wellness sectors.
This course contains the SQA Body Massage Techniques unit at SCQF Level 6, plus 1 ABT accredited Massage unit
Please Note:
- The cost, of course, is £350 and must be paid before the start of the course. Please note that we have a limited number of places available for the course. To guarantee a place, course fees should be paid as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. (NB: course fees are non-refundable once the course has started)
- Some theory will be delivered online - you will be required to have access to IT to enable you to complete this part of the course, e.g., a laptop, PC, iPhone, Android phone
We also ask all students to adhere to the dress code for the department as follows:

- Black Shoes

What you will learn
- The basic skills in preparing and performing a Full Body Massage for the Beauty Industry.
Placement information
- No work placement is required for this course.
How the course is assessed
- All practical assessments are carried out on paying clients within our salons.
- The theoretical aspects of the course are covered under exam conditions, including open-book and closed-book assessments.
Number of days per week
- One evening per week for 18 weeks from 6.00 PM to 8.30 PM on Tuesday.
- Six hours of self-directed study.
Entry requirements
- All applicants must be at least 18 years of age by the course start date
- Paid the course fee in full.

- There is no formal interview process.
