Course overview
This 18-week exciting short course is designed to develop understanding and basic skills in preparing for and performing Full Body Massage for the Beauty industry.
In addition to becoming proficient in the skills involved, you will learn an understanding of all aspects of related anatomy and physiology and current health and safety.
You will be able to perform full body massages, which will enable you to seek employment at a trainee level in the Beauty industry or progress to further studies within the Beauty and Wellness sectors.
This course contains 2 SQA Massage units at SCQF Level 5, plus 1 ABT accredited Massage unit at Level 6
Please Note:
- The cost, of course, is £400 and must be paid before the start of the course. Please be aware that we have a limited number of places for the course. To guarantee a place, course fees should be paid as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. (NB: course fees are non-refundable once the course has started)
- Some theory will be delivered online - you will be required to have access to IT to enable you to complete this part of the course, e.g., a laptop, PC, iPhone, Android phone
We also ask all students to adhere to the dress code for the department as follows:

What you will learn
- The basic skills in preparing and performing a Full Body Massage for the Beauty Industry.
Placement information
- There is no work placement required for this course.
How the course is assessed
- All practical assessments are conducted for paying clients in our salons.
- The theoretical aspects of the course are covered under exam conditions, including open-book and closed-book assessments.
Number of days per week
- One evening per week for 18 weeks from 6.00 PM to 8.30 PM on Tuesday.
- Six hours of self-directed study.
Entry requirements
- All applicants must be 18 years of age or older on the course start date and have paid for the course in full.

- There is no formal interview process; however, all applicants must be 18 years of age or older before the start date of the course and have paid for the course in full.
