Course overview

This 18-week Travel and Tourism course at SCQF Level 5 has been designed to develop the skills required to work in the aviation industry.

This is an interactive, practical course to enhance your knowledge of customer service, sales skills, and worldwide tourist destinations.

This course will ensure you are well prepared for further studies and possible progression to our Cabin Crew and Airline Operations Course, which can lead to an exciting career in this growing sector.

How the course is assessed

  • You will be continually assessed through practical, written and roleplay assignments.

Number of days per week

  • 3 days per week.

Entry requirements

  • Applicants must have reached the age of 17 years old by 31st January 2027.
  • A minimum requirement of one National 5 at grades A-C and five National 4s to include English and Mathematics or Communications, and Numeracy or equivalent.

  • You will be invited for an individual interview where you can learn more about the course and tell us why you are interested in this subject area.

English Proficiency Requirements

Applicants whose first language is not English are required to have a minimum ESOL Intermediate 2. IELTS (5.5).

Progression and Articulation Routes

  • On successful completion of this 18-week course, you can progress to the Cabin Crew and Airline Operations course, which begins in January.
