Graphic Design students recognised at national Show Racism the Red Card Awards
Three of the College’s talented HND Graphic Design students have achieved a clean sweep in this year’s Show Racism the Red Card competition, securing first, second and third place in the College category, an outstanding success they should all be proud of.
The annual competition saw design students create a single poster which visually communicated the theme, “A World Without Racism”, with this year’s edition attracting nearly three thousand entries across all competition categories, highlighting the scale and prestige of the event.
The students picked up their gongs at an awards ceremony held at the home of Scottish football, Glasgow’s Hampden Park. The trio were recognised for their creativity, design skills and powerful anti-racism messaging.

First prize went to Isla Mosquera, with Eva Topala taking second, and Daniela Gomes Diaz picking up the prize for third place.
The fantastic achievement reflects not only the high standard of work produced by the students, but also the commitment of the Graphic Design department to use creativity as a force for positive social change.
We’d like to offer a huge congratulations to Isla, Eva and Daniela on their wonderful success, and say well done for representing the College with such distinction at this national competition.
