Fergus Gaine/Ded Rabbit - HND Popular Music Students
When I first started at Edinburgh College I had only a vague idea of what I wanted to achieve as a musician. Through fantastic tuition I was able to develop my musicality in both composition and performance. This was influenced in the development of Ded Rabbit and inspired us to start touring the UK and promoting ourselves. One of the great things about the course was the close relationship I had with the tutors and of course the great facilities and access to the recording studio.

HND Interactive Media (Web Development)
"Studying at the college for two years has set me up with all the knowledge I needed to progress directly into the third year of university. I’ve recently enrolled on a course at Edinburgh Napier University (BSc Web Design and Development), which I hope will allow me to build upon what I have learned at Edinburgh College and eventually move on to employment in the web design industry."
Creative Industries
Our students from Creative Industries were involved in many aspects of a campaign for Ingenious Audio in relation to their wireless guitar jack.
Broadcast Media students created the promotional video and a photgraphy student took the promotional photography.
Lecturer Fergus Robb "Real world projects such as this one area a terrific teaching tool. There's an element of carrot and stick about them: the rewards of having your work distributed and seen by thousands combined with the fear of falling on your face in front of the client. It encourages the students to up their game."
Ingenious Audio founder John Crawford: "We needed a professional video and stills presence for our music product and Edinburgh College seemed the ideal fit.
The whole process from brief through script, rehearsal, filming and editing has been slick and professionally executed, and we're delighted with the students excellent work."
